Organic Timor Coffee

Timor is a small island in South east Asia, north of Australia. It has a unique growing culture where seven thousand small farmers work to provide Organic only coffee that gets exported. Coffee from Timor comes from 16 cooperatives and 494 small scale farms.

The Bean

The Timor varietal is a hybrid coffee, popular because of its natural resistance to coffee leaf rust. When harvested these beans are wet processed, leaving a yellowish green bean that we roast to medium.

Taste

A shade grown coffee from the Cooperativa Cafe Timor, this coffee is spicy and herbal, with a vibrant acidity (yet not over powering) and a full body.
